Week 5



This week seemed short and straight forward. I definitely designed my map for color as I would have had to make the symbols and colors different if it were to be in black and white.

Challenge 3

This one was fairly easy going. I did run into a problem where my computer was not displaying the table so I tried it on another and it worked like normal. It may have been the small screen. Anyway, here is my result:

Module 2

In this assignment I am not sure if I got parts 1 & 2 right. I just stuck with the default bands and looked for pixel values that matched what I needed in the specified layer. It turned out it was deep water in both of them. The deep water in my opinion could be seen just fine in the default color scheme so I left them as is.

In the third part I found an area with both shallow and deep water and started playing with the bands. I ended up with layer 6 = red, 3 = green, & 1 = blue. I chose this because I thought it amplified the differences between the two. in the shallow water you could see through it and in the deep water you could not.
